The Merryn Handbag by Country Cow Designs

This large handbag has a beautiful slouchy look but the straps make it stand out and the hardware adds some bling. Inside, there are plenty of pockets and elastic to organize your things. This sewing pattern is suitable for intermediate bag makers. The pattern includes step by step photo instructions and tips. Video tutorial is also available.

Supplies:
This bag looks luxurious when made using faux leather. Cork is NOT recommended because most cork fabric won’t wear well with the fold on this bag. Cotton is a great option, but you may want to increase the thickness/stability of your stabilizer to ensure the bag isn’t too slouchy.
For the lining I like to use a quilting cotton or cotton canvas.
| Fabric (I like to use faux leather or cotton canvas for the exterior, and quilting cotton for the lining): |
