Who we are:
Emmaline Bags Inc. is located in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, and ships around the world daily. Our primary focus is online orders, but we also have a small store front where you can browse our products in person. The website has been operating since 2012, with the store front opening in 2018.
A little about me:
I have been sewing since I was very young, my Mom and Grandmother were avid sewists, who had also learnt from the women before them. I have always had a machine near by, and - depending on what season of life I was in - I would sew for craft shows, quilts, halloween costumes for my daughters, clothing etc.
Emmaline started out as my own bag making and sewing pattern business, with patterns sold under my name, Janelle MacKay - Emmaline Bags. I would sell bags at craft shows, and eventually began to create my own patterns. When I first started out, there was no hardware or bag making products readily available. I began designing metal 'handmade' labels, sourcing and bringing in bag hardware that I needed for my bag designs. All from a small room in my basement! It's now becoming a one-stop shop for bag making. We have a beautiful building and store front to work in, and it brings me great joy to be able to share passion for sewing and bag making with others.
My husband Mike runs the orders and shipping side of the business, while my daughter Stephanie and I are on product development and business management. We have wonderful staff at Emmaline, and our priority is a great customer service experience.

Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Sunday: Closed
NOTE: We are closed on the SATURDAYS of all weeks that have a STAT holiday (long weekends).
