Water Resistant 400 Denier Nylon 2/2 Twill in 10 shiny rich colours - (1/2 yd, 18" x 59" wide). Featuring a polyurethane back coating, this nylon twill has the same 2/2 pattern as our Sunshower Polyester Twill; however, it is slightly lighter in weight, and it has a satin-gloss finish, making it even more luxurious.

This striking fabric has a shiny finish and a diagonal ribbed texture, that creates an elegant finish that will suit handbag linings beautifully. The colours in this collection are chosen to compliment our range of faux leathers, and will look stunning with natural leather and canvas as well.  Suitable for an outer fabric too! Make waist bags, packs, duffels, or beautiful interior bag linings. 

Which is the front? The front is brighter in colour and more lustrous, however the back has a polyurethane finish so it looks more dull. You can do the water test and the side the beads up water more is the front, but the easiest way is to look at the twill direction. With the selvedge edges on your left and right, and the cut edges at the top and bottom, the angle of the twill should be going from bottom left to upper right. It's possible to use the back side for the exterior of a bag if you like the look of it.

• Comes rolled to avoid wrinkles. Keeping it rolled is advised.

• Cold water hand wash, hang to dry. 

• Iron topside only on lowest synthetic setting, using a pressing cloth and then increase temps as needed. 
• Please note, this fabric does slightly mark if you scratch it! A very small variance of flaws can be expected, but we will do everything we can to make sure we pull out flawed material if possible. 
• Machine Needle: The size will depend on your thread weight and machine, but generally a Microtex 90/14 or 100/16 will work well.
• No interfacing recommended or required.
