Prairie Faux Leather:
Supple and pliable, premium-quality synthetic leather featuring a subtle pebbled finish. This super soft upholstery-grade material is ideal for crafting handbags and home décor items. This has a very close feel to leather, but super easy to sew on your domestic or industrial machine. Made in North America, and sold in convenient 1/2 YARD PRECUT rolls.
"We live in the prairies, and it's always been woven into the fabric of our lives. From childhood days spent roaming open fields, gathering wildflowers, and climbing hay bales, the farm and prairie life are deeply rooted in who we are.
In early 2025, we set off on a special Mother-Daughter road trip through the heart of the prairies—from Alberta and Saskatchewan, North and South Dakota, all the way down to Kansas. Along the way, we were inspired by the land’s quiet beauty and resilience. From Alberta’s vivid Wood Lilies to the pale limestone landscapes of Kansas, we chose names that reflect the spirit and textures of the prairies. Pieces of home, carried with us."

Sold by the 1/2 Yard - PRECUT 18" x 53" (1/2 YARD)
- Multiples quantities will NOT be cut in 1 piece.
- 135 cm (53″) by-the-yard width.
- Any wrinkles will come out over time, and persistent wrinkles can be pressed out with iron on BACK ONLY, increasing temps as needed. Can be interfaced if needed from the back only. Fusible Fleece, Decovil, & woven interfacing are easily applied.
- 100% Polycarbonate with a 30% polyurethane/70% cotton backing
- about 1 mm to 1.2 mm thick, 600g/m2 or 17.7oz/yd2
- Recommended Needles & Thread: Microtex 90/14

Support and stabilize your fabric with our Emmaline brand fusible woven cotton interfacing.
We have 3 weights of all purpose, woven, fusible, interfacing suitable for a range of weights of cotton, wool, faux leather, or knit fabric. These work very well to stiffen and add structure to exterior/interior bag outers & linings, pockets, or garments.
